WNCC soccer to hold two camps in July

Western Nebraska Community College men's and women's soccer coach Todd Rasnic will conduct two soccer camps from July 24-28 at the Landers Soccer Complex in Scottsbluff.

               There will be a morning and evening camp that runs all five days. The morning session will be for recreational players from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, while the evening session, 5-8 p.m. is for advanced, competitive players. There will be a 2-hour camp for youngsters under the age of 8 from 9-11 a.m. on the five days.

                The cost for the camps for $90 for one session or $160 for both for ages 9 and above. The cost for the youngsters 8-under is $75.

                The recreational camp is for players of all ages with soccer abilities where they will be fun and creative activities planned. The evening camp is to help players fine tune soccer abilities in a more competitive arena. The camp will be more intense than the morning session.

               Rasnic will contact the camp along with Cougar assistant coaches, and former and current players. Rasnic will be beginning his 13th year as head men's soccer coach and 12th as women's coach. The men's program will be beginning its 15th year of playing this coming fall while the women's program is in its 14th year at the college.

                Participants may register in advance or on the first day of the camp.
