Lara returns as a sophomore to the Cougar team after being a starter last year. In her native country of Germany, they didn't have high school sports but she played volleyball in club. Her biggest highlight was being a national runner-up last year for WNCC. Lara started playing volleyball back in 2005 when her dad bought her a volleyball and the rest is history. Her nickname is "Germany", which was given to her last year because they had many players on the team with an "L".
Hobbies: Volleyball, listening to music, and horseback riding.
What is Sportsmanship: Being respectful on the court.
Three words to describe yourself: Sporty and open-minded.
Who do you give credit for the success you had in athletics: My coach in club because I learned a lot from him.
