Male Athlete of the Week for Week Ending Dec. 17
Martin Roub, a freshman from the Czech Republic, had three big games. The 6-foot-9 inside and outside hitter showed his shooting range in finishing with 36 points and eight 3-pointers in two wins over Western Wyoming and Central Wyoming. Against Central, Roub had 17 points and five 3-pointers, while tallying 19 points and three treys against Western Wyoming. Roub has scored in double figures in the last three games to help the Cougar men to a 12-2 record in the first semester.
