For Freshman/First Year Players: What Are Your Goals For College and Being At WNCC And What Do You Hope To Accomplish: My goals is to better the player I am, while connecting with all the players. I also hope to accomplish my academics.

Do you have a nickname and how did you get it: Yes, (kd) my parents gave it to me when I was younger.

When Did You Start Playing The Sport You Are Playing and What Makes It Your Sport: I started playing when I was 6. Softball is my sport because it has always been my outlet. I’ve learned so many life lessons from it & I wouldn’t be the person I am today without it.

Goals After WNCC: Transfer to a university to continue to play college ball.

What are the ingredients to being a good leader on/off the playing field: On the field: positive communicator, lead by example, I don’t ask teammates to do something I wouldn’t do myself, and willingness to call out negative behavior and attitude. Off the field: good role model and community member, always training and working on my craft (softball) outside of practice. Lastly, my positive approach to life.

Describe Who Is The One Teacher/Instructor That Has Inspired You Most and Why: (what school was that teacher in): Karissa Marsico. She has always been such a great example, her mindset. This teacher actually went to WNCC and played college softball.

If you could be on any reality show, which one would it be and why: Not sure reality, but All American, which is a show I would be on. This is because it revolves around sports and how the struggles can turn you into the person you are now.

Are there any interesting stories, story ideas, or links to stories that have been done that you can share: Interesting story is, before every tournement since I was 6 one of my coaches always printed out an inspiring story. A different one each time, which has always been something I carried with me.
